Hi, I’m Laura Cooper, and I am a St. Louis native. My passion for photography all began from a little app you might know called, Instagram. After years of just playing around with taking pictures on my iPhone, I decided to take it to the next step! After my husband and I got married, I put the gift money to good use and bought myself my first camera. I am now a self taught photographer specializing in vibrant images since October 2017.
When I am not taking photos, you might find me spending time curled up with an epic fantasy novel, playing video games with my husband, volunteering at a local animal shelter, soaking up the fresh air in our garden, or binge watching Disney movies whilst snuggled with our pets.
The meaning of my business name is inspired by the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) and my childhood nickname growing up was Laura Borealis (thanks, Dad). Just like the Northern lights, I breath a little bit of magic and whimsical nature into my work for my clients.
I've always loved whimsical, magical, fairy tales since I was a little girl. I wanted my business name to reflect that aspect of my personality. I also pride myself on the fact that I keep my images bright and vivid, much like the colors of the Aurora Borealis!
